The Vacuum Lifter for metal sheet FS4-B 250 is a battery operated model for easier use in every occasion.
A special feature of the FS4 model is its lowered structure which significantly reduces the height under the hook.
Horizontal fixed steel frame, 4 suction cups positioned on 2 arms and the arms freely positioned along the crossbar to adapt to different sheet sizes, make the FS4 lifter an excellent tool for handling metal sheets.
- Lifting capacity 250 kg
- Electric operating system
- 4 suction pads d.200 mm
- Lower below-the-hook
- Frame L 1950 mm
- Fixed frame for horizontal lifting

Security systems
The safety systems for the load and for the operator are the basis of our Vacuum lifters design.
To maximize reliability, our Vacuum Lifters are equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems designed specifically. Below we present the main ones.
The gripping and release of the slabs and panels is carried out by activating a valve to open and close the vacuum. The double action grip and release control with safety against inadvertent starting can be performed by a manual valve positioned on the lift structure, or via a wired push-button panel or a wireless remote control.
By means of a vacuum gauge with colored scale installed on the vacuum circuit, it is possible to constantly check the depression
reached in the vacuum circuit. The intervention of the safety system is
regulated by a vacuum switch mounted on the vacuum tank.
A large vacuum tank, in addition to accelerating gripping, coupled with non-return valves ensures that the load is not released immediately upon the occurrence of a sudden power cut, ensuring the safety of the operator and the material being handled.
The Vacuum Lifters is also equipped with an autonomously powered acoustic and visual alarm system that alerts the operator to any dangerous situations.
On battery-powered models, the control unit monitors the vacuum level,
checks the correct operation of the main components and monitors the
battery charge.
Our lifting equipment are designed and manufactured in full compliance with the Machinery Directive and safety system standards.
They are supplied complete with CE marking, Certificate of Conformity and Use and Maintenance Booklet.
Righetti Vacuum Lifters’ are designed and built entirely in Italy.

Specific suction pads for metal sheet
When choosing a Vacuum lifter for sheet metal, the presence of specific suction cups for sheet metal is essential for the safety of your load.
The reliability of a lifter also depends on the presence of specific suction cups for handling sheet metal. The Righetti Vacuum Lifters models are optimal precisely because they mount these components.
The suction cups for sheet metal are sprung and articulated with vulcanized rubber produced with a compound specifically designed for this use: the design and materials used are designed to compensate for sheets that are not perfectly flat, i.e. when they are not perfectly level. The irregularities due to the supports or pallets make the sheet metal poorly planar.
Righetti’s specific suction pads for sheet metal feature a low vacuum dispersion design, a safety ring and a sealing lip to ensure maximum reliability of the suction cups. The spring system and the articulation of the components best compensate for the natural bending of the sheet metal.
Furthermore, the sheet metal can reach very high temperatures (110°) during the processing cycle, and therefore cannot be lifted by elements that do not take this feature into account. For even higher temperatures, it is possible to request specific suction cups for high temperatures, as well as oil-resistant suction cups in the case of special processes.
On request we can also supply special plates with gaskets suitable for lifting checkered and mugnate sheets, mounted on the same standard machine body.
Adjustable structure
The adjustable structure of the Righetti’s vacuum lifters for sheet metal will make your work even easier.
The adjustable structure of the suction cup group for sheet metal is designed ad hoc to be able to move both the arms and the position of the suction plates, in order to better adapt the lifter to the sheet metal sheets to be handled.
This is accompanied by the possibility of excluding the arms, so even with a large lifter it will be possible to handle smaller sheet metal sheets.
Exclusion of suction cups for sheet metal
Lifting sheets and plates of different sizes: today it is possible thanks to the technology of exclusion of the suction cups for sheet metal.
In the daily work of lifting sheets and plates of metal, it often happens that you have to handle materials with different dimensions.
The technology of exclusion of the suction cups for sheet metal has been designed for a practical and quick exclusion of the arms by means of the taps positioned on the machine body. In this way, the operator can choose whether to bring the arms with the suction cups closer to re-enter the suction area of the sheet metal panels, or, if this is not enough to adapt the suction cup lifter to the size of the sheet metal, to exclude some arms to use only the chosen suction cups.
This simple but innovative technology makes it possible to adapt the suction cup to smaller plate sizes, allowing a single suction cup lifter to handle sheet metal sheets with different dimensions, even smaller than those initially thought.
Exclusion of the suction cups involves the reduction of the lift capacity.
