When we started out on the Ronin journey, we saw powered rope ascender technology had existed. The technology was mainly confined to limited uses and to a small user base. The technology was not able to get broad acceptance and use because it was priced at a level that did not make sense to the industries and individuals it was supposed to serve. We recognized that an access tool that people did not have access too, did not make any sense. Powered ascenders are an amazing technology they solve a common problem all humans have, going up is challenging. The Ronin Lift is the first ascender available that crosses the full spectrum of use. Ronin Lift maintains controlled acceleration through its variable-speed thumbwheel up to the maximum safe working load of 400 lbs. (181 kg).

Ronin Lift versatility allows the use of mechanical advantages up to 3:1, which means loads of up to 1200 lbs. (544 kg) can be accommodated. Both Ronin Lift anchor points are rated at 5,000 lbs. for confident rigging.
