CLF-4

Vacuum lifter CLF4 is the perfect solution for installation of sandwich roof panels. Thanks to its horizontally fixed frame, it allows the handling of the load only horizontally.

Power supply

CLF4 is powered by rechargeable batteries that, if necessary, can be easily removed and exchanged. Vacuum lifter is provided with battery charger included.

Movements

Load suction and release are controlled through a practical manual valve located on the handle. Vacuum lifter frame is horizontally fixed: this feature makes it perfect for sandwich roof panels where no tilt is required.

Frame

Vacuum lifter CLF4 is equipped with 4 suction pads, resulting in a maximum lifting capacity of 350kg. The suction pads are specific for lifting and handling smooth, micro-ribbed and corrugated sandwich panels. In case of special panels, such as wavy and roof-tile effect panels, it is possible to interchange standard suction pads with spefic ones.

Its central beam can be 2000mm, 3000mm or 4000mm long.

Safety

CLF4 respects the highest safety standards to protect workers and the load. Thanks to a dual vacuum circuit, it can be used on construction site in full respect of European laws EN13155.  Moreover, the vacuum control unit constantly monitors the level of vacuum in the circuit, signalling any possible dangers.

Security systems

  • The safety systems for the load and for the operator are the basis of our Vacuum lifters design.
  • To maximize reliability, our Vacuum Lifters are equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems designed specifically. Below we present the main ones.
  • The gripping and release of the slabs and panels is carried out by activating a valve to open and close the vacuum. The double action grip and release control with safety against inadvertent starting can be performed by a manual valve positioned on the lift structure, or via a wired push-button panel or a wireless remote control.
  • By means of a vacuum gauge with colored scale installed on the vacuum circuit, it is possible to constantly check the depression reached in the vacuum circuit. The intervention of the safety system is regulated by a vacuum switch mounted on the vacuum tank.
  • A large vacuum tank, in addition to accelerating gripping, coupled with non-return valves ensures that the load is not released immediately upon the occurrence of a sudden power cut, ensuring the safety of the operator and the material being handled.
  • The Vacuum Lifters is also equipped with an autonomously powered acoustic and visual alarm system that alerts the operator to any dangerous situations.
  • On battery-powered models, the control unit monitors the vacuum level, checks the correct operation of the main components and monitors the battery charge.
  • Our lifting equipment are designed and manufactured in full compliance with the Machinery Directive and safety system standards.
  • They are supplied complete with CE marking, Certificate of Conformity and Use and Maintenance Booklet
  • Righetti Vacuum Lifters’ are designed and built entirely in Italy
  • Further guarantee for the quality of components and the availability of spare parts.

Control unit

  • Control unit for suction cup lifters: an on-board computer to manage the lifter in greater safety
  • It checks the functionality of the main components of the lift and carries out the self-test in case of failure. The control unit is complete with microprocessors for controlling the power supply circuits.
  • It monitors the vacuum level of the system, signaling any anomalies with a visual and acoustic alarm. The volume level of the audible alarm can be adjusted according to the noise of the working environment so that it is always audible by the operator.
  • The shutdown of the Vacuum lifter takes place with a coded procedure to avoid the involuntary shutdown, and consequent release of the load, thus ensuring greater safety for the operator and for the load.
  • It manages and monitors the batteries and is programmed to eliminate the risk of complete discharge of the batteries. In addition to indicating the battery charge level, the on-board computer monitors and protects the batteries by clearly warning the operator of the minimum charge level with sequential alarms
  • The built-in economizer greatly increases the life of the batteries.
  • With the new generation control unit, the safety of the Vacuum lifter and of the operator is increased even more.

Double vacuum circuit

Why is the double vacuum circuit important?

  • According to the European standard EN13155, vacuum lifters intended for use on site must use the secondary gripping device (bands) or must be equipped with a double vacuum circuit, intended as a double system complete with vacuum tank and non-return valve. Each vacuum tank must be connected to a separate set of suction cups.
  •  Why is it so important?

Because it is one of the main elements to preserve the health of the operator and the safety of the load. Each crossed pair of suction cups is connected to a single vacuum circuit, effectively making these pairs independent. This allows, in the event of malfunctions, breakdowns or power drops in a vacuum circuit, to always have its opposite circuit working, guaranteeing load holding and safety for the operator (who will thus have time to put safely load and crew).

  •  Righetti Vacuum Lifters designed for use on site, meet the specific requirements of the EN13155 standard and are equipped with a double vacuum circuit.
  • Consequently, Righetti Vacuum Lifters’ can be used on site without any limitations.

 Removable batteries for lifters

How can Vacuum Lifters with removable batteries help your construction site?

Righetti Vacuum Lifters’ battery-powered lifting equipment are powered by rechargeable batteries inserted into the lifter’s structure.

We have chosen this solution to facilitate your work: without the need for wires and cables connected to voltage, you will have fewer impediments in your operating area.

How can they help work on your construction site?

– They are removable batteries (they can be easily replaced if necessary)

– Easily rechargeable with the separate charger

– They are quickly and safely interchangeable

– They constantly monitor the charge level

  • The interchangeability of the batteries offers the possibility of always having an additional kit of charged batteries available, useful in situations of intense work, in which it is not possible to put the Vacuum Lifter on charge or if it has not been done by mistake.
  • The models powered by extractable batteries are supplied complete with a separate 220V battery charger that allows you to charge the additional battery kit while the lift is in use.
  • Through the battery level indicator it is possible to constantly monitor the available charge level.
  • Rechargeable and removable batteries for construction site Vacuum Lifters

Immediate suction of the load for sandwich panels

Speed and safety are two essential elements, both on construction sites and in production environments.

  • Righetti Vacuum Lifters wanted to design its own vacuum lifters to guarantee these two aspects. The immediate suction of the load takes place thanks to the capacious vacuum pre-refill tanks, the wide passages of the pipes and the fittings: a suction system designed specifically for vacuum lifters that have to suck the load with surfaces that are not perfectly smooth, micro-ribbed or not planar due to the length of the sandwich panel.
  • The vacuum is prepared already when the lifter is switched on, completely pre-refilling the vacuum tanks and ensuring constant vacuum, with a charge always at the highest level. When the suction is activated, it is not necessary to wait for the creation of the vacuum, but the latter instantly enters the circuit, immediately reaches the suction cups and guarantees a fast and safe grip.
  • To further facilitate the process, the lifters are equipped with articulated plates, which, thanks to the internal articulation mechanism, are able to adapt to the inclination of the sandwich panels, facilitating grip.

 Special pads for sandwich panels

  • The vacuum lifters for installing sandwich panels have specific suction pads suitable for lifting and handling the insulated panels.
  • The shape of the vacuum pads also allows the gripping of rib trapezoidal panels and its special gaskets guarantee rapid grip not only on smooth surfaces but also on micro-ribbed panels.
  • Furthermore, a speicific tiny movement of the vacuum pads considerably facilitates the suction of the panels, also simplified by a particular vacuum circuit that makes easier and faster the aspiration.
  • For particular panels such as corrugated sandwich panels, roof tile or other particular profiles, specific solutions are available.

Wireless remote control

Wireless radio control, as an alternative to the manual controls on the structure, is available as an option.

The Righetti Vacuum Lifters’ radio-controlled equipment allow the vacuum lifters to be operated remotely, with the practical wireless radio control. It is a particularly suitable solution for radio-controlled lifters used on construction sites and for those work situations in which the load is particularly complicated to reach and it is more practical and quick to activate the release of the load at a distance.
